Ticketure Information Security

At Ticketure, we earn the trust of our clients through transparency, security, and compliance. This is why we uphold and maintain the security standards of SOC2 Type 2, PCI-DSS Level 1, UK Security Essentials certifications, and Data Privacy Framework (formerly EU-US Privacy Shield), demonstrating our commitment to safeguarding confidential information, respecting privacy, and maintaining operational excellence.

tis

Governance

Ticketure's Security and Privacy teams establish policies and controls, monitor compliance with those controls, and prove our security and compliance to third-party auditors. Company policies are reviewed annually as well as risk assessment is conducted per industry best practices.

Data Protection

Data at Rest

All datastores with customer data are encrypted at rest using the strong ciphers offered by AWS or Azure natively.

Data in Transit

Ticketure uses TLS v2 or higher everywhere data is transmitted over potentially insecure networks.

Secret Management

Encryption keys are managed via AWS or Azure Key Management System (KMS). KMS stores key material in Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), which prevents direct access by any individuals, including employees of Amazon and Ticketure.

Product Security

Penetration Testing

Ticketure engages with independent external firms to perform penetration testing annually. All areas of the Ticketure products, including the mobile apps and cloud infrastructure, are in-scope for these assessments, and source code is fully available to the testers in order to maximize the effectiveness and coverage.

Vulnerability Scanning

Ticketure conducts vulnerability scanning at key stages of our Secure Development Lifecycle:

  • Software composition analysis (SCA) to identify known vulnerabilities in our software supply chain
  • Malicious dependency scanning to prevent the introduction of malware into our software supply chain
  • Dynamic analysis (DAST) of running applications
  • External attack surface management (EASM) continuously running to discover new external-facing assets
  • External scanning by PCI-approved ASV
  • Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to secure the cloud environments

Enterprise Security

Endpoint protection

All corporate devices are centrally managed and are equipped with mobile device management software and EDR/XDR anti-malware protection. Endpoint security alerts are monitored with 24/7/365 coverage. We use MDM software to enforce secure configuration of endpoints, such as disk encryption, screen lock configuration, and software updates.

Vendor security

Ticketure uses a risk-based approach to vendor security. Factors which influence the inherent risk rating of a vendor include: access to customer and corporate data, integration with production environments, and potential damage to the Ticketure brand. Once the inherent risk rating has been determined, the security of the vendor is evaluated in order to determine a residual risk rating and an approval decision for the vendor. Security of critical vendors is monitored on a continuous basis.

No on-premises IT infrastructure

Ticketure is a 100% cloud-native company without any on-premises IT systems, network, or infrastructure to manage.

Security education

Ticketure provides continuous phishing exercises along with security training to all employees upon onboarding and annually through educational modules within our LMS (Learning Management System). In addition, new employees go through background checks where allowed by law.

Identity and access management

Ticketure uses Single Sign-On in conjunction with MFA to secure our identity and access management. We enforce the use of phishing-resistant authentication factors, in addition to usernames and passwords, wherever possible.

Ticketure employees are granted access to applications based on their role, and automatically deprovisioned upon termination of their employment. Further access must be approved according to the policies set for each application.
